Olivia is 3!
Three years ago today Chris and I welcomed our first baby girl, Olivia Annell. It is hard for me to believe that it has been 3 years! She makes us smile everyday and we are so thankful for her! She has come so far since I have been home. Her language has improved significantly and we never knew how well she would do. She is a busy girl which hasn't changed since she was in my belly. Olivia is fun, loving, friendly, happy, great big sister, sweet, kind and sometimes stubborn but we love her. Everyday she makes me laugh in some way. Today I went to get her and I told her happy birthday and she said,"mommy, I am three". When we tucked her in tonight I was closing the door and told her goodnight and I love you and she said, " sweet dreams momma". That made my day!!! Here are a couple birthday pictures. Sorry I have been so behind on the blog lately. I guess that will be part of my New Years resolution!!!

So much going on and so little time to blog!
So I have LOTS to catch everyone up on. As most of you know we are expecting our third baby May 21, 2012. This little one was a complete SHOCK and we are very excited. Sadley, I could have been on that show I always make fun of "I didn't know I was pregnant". I guess I was showing signs to Chris and he had asked me to take a test before he changed our health insurance. I kept putting it off thinking he was just crazy but he brought a test home on a Tuesday. I took it right away to prove that I was right and he was wrong. Little did I know that I was wrong! Needless to say, I was frantically calling OB's the next morning trying to see who could get me in that day. Of course, Dr. Gunn could not get me in until the next week and I could not wait that long. I got an appointment at the Methodist Willowbrook and was still unsure that I was really pregnant. So they did an ultrasound first and I saw the baby. I started crying not believing that it actually happend on our own. The technician then proceeded to tell me that I was 12 weeks. Again, started crying thinking... I have a 7 month old at home as well as an almost 3 year old. It took me a day to have it set in and believe it is real but we are all very excited about this little miracle!!!
As for the girls, Kylee is growing up and is doing great. She is trying to crawl and is so close that we think it will be any day! She is sleeping through the night and eating meats well with veggies and of course a fruit. This Wednesday I took her to the doctor due to a yucky nose and found out she has a double ear infection. Poor baby has never been sick but has been such a trooper. I also went to the doctor due to sinus and now we are both on medicine. Fingers crossed Olivia and Chris stay healthy!!
It blows my mind that Olivia will be 3 in 19 days!!! Where has the time gone?? She has brought so much joy to our lives and we are thankful for her everyday. She is talking all the time and sings to Kylee(which is so cute especially when she sings you are my sunshine) She is a great big sister and helper. She is starting to show more emotions now. For example, today she got to watch a show and then I said okay, we are turning off the t.v. and she made a sad face and said, "but it is still my turn". It was so cute and hard not to laugh. Olivia has given up naps and rest time so I have been trying to do little activities and fun things with her while Kylee is sleeping. She is excited about seeing Santa and also excited about her birthday!
I have lots of pictures to share but our computer has been hit with a virus and so I only use Chris' work computer at night. Sadley, I am too lazy to go find all the pictures and cords to upload. Sorry but I still feel yucky and of course tired. But, I will have lots to share from our new baby, family pictures, Olivia's birthday pictures and the girls visit with Santa.
I hope you are all doing well and had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Kylee 6 months
It is hard to believe Kylee has been in our lives for 6 months! The time has gone by so quickly but of course we are loving every minute. She weighed 17lbs 13ounces and is 27 and 1/2 inches long. She has eaten all the veggies and we are almost done with fruits. So far the only thing she doesn't like or really doen't set well with her stomach in sweet potatoes. She eats solids 3 times a day, fruit for breakfast, fruit and veggie for lunch and veggie for dinner. She is not a huge fan of cereal anymore so I mix it in with her veggie at night. Kylee now sleeps in her room upstairs and is only waking up once a night to eat and then goes back down until 7:30. She can sit up on her own, roll over both ways, grabs for toys and Olivia's hair. She has not yet shown signs of crawling which is fine with me. With Olivia we were so ready for her to crawl and with Kylee I can wait as long as possible!! Not sure I am ready for 2 busy girls!! She is our smiley Kylee and we love her. Olivia is learning to share and is doing very well with sharing with Kylee and toys.
Slacking
I have been really bad about blogging lately! The girls got the stomach bug, then Olivia had a rash, and the past week she has had an ear infection and virus that she had a fever. So here we go, at then end of September we took our first family trip to Sea World in San Antonio. We left Friday morning and Olivia did great on the drive but Kylee didn't like it as much. Once we arrived we unloaded and went to the River Walk and Alamo. We had our usual Friday night dinner at a mexican restaurant on the River walk. Then we headed back to our hotel to get rested for our Sea World adventure!! The girls were out of their element so no one really slept well that night. Olivia had a hay day running around the room. It was quite funny to see how she thought the freedom was. Kylee woke up every 2 hours even when sleeping in bed with me. So needless to say the next day we were all tired! Olivia woke up that morning and said " I ready to see the dolphins, they are awake"! Of course it was 6 a.m. and we tried to tell her they were sleeping but we were all up. It was so fun to see her so excited about seeing something. We arrived at Sea World right at 10:00 and started off by feeding the dolphins and then wen to the Sesame Street Bay of Play which was Olivia's FAVORITE!!!! She loved seeing Abby, Zoe, Elmo, Cookie, Grover, Count and Murray. She was so happy and in love! After we finished there we went to see the Shamu show. She enjoyed it but of course both girls were getting tired. Chris and I made an executive decision to go ahead and head home. We had a great time but have learned that the girls are not ready for over night stays just yet. Here are some pictures to show how much fun we had.

Kylee Ann 5 months
I know I say this every month but I can't believe Kylee is growing so fast! She is almost half a year old. How has it gone by so fast? She is such a sweet, happy girl! She loves watching Olivia, Kylee is a great eater...she has had peas, carrots, and green beans all made by me. Kylee loves to be outside and has been in the pool a few times and has very active legs. She rolls from front to back and continues to roll ALL over the floor. She pushes up with her arms and is very close to sitting up on her own. She sleeps most of the night waking up only once to eat and then goes right back to sleep. Her nickname is "Smiley Kylee" as she always has a beautiful smile on her face. She loves when we sing to her and Olivia likes to sing to her as well. We are thankful every day for our two beautiful girls and love watching them grow!
Potty Time!
I have to say that Chris and I are VERY proud parents!! I decided to potty train Olivia last Wednesday and go cold turkey. NO MORE DIAPERS!!! Chris was home due to food poisoning the night before and so I thought might as well start today. When she woke up that morning I told her we were done with diapers and she was going to wear big girls panties. I made a big deal out of it and she was so excited. I also bribed her with candy but hey, it is working and she gets so excited after she goes potty. The first day was a little difficult but Thursday she only had 3 accidents, Friday 2, Saturday 1 and Sunday NONE!!! She does wear a pull-up at night and that does not bother her but when she gets up she tells me she needs to go potty. Today we went back to our work out group and one of my friends brought a smaller potty that her daughter used. Olivia went twice. Chris and I can't believe how quickly she caught on and how great she is doing. It is hard to believe my baby girl is growing up so fast! It makes me sad but very happy at the same time. Here are a couple of pictures of her sitting on her potty and her casual dress as we were training. She was so funny!
My shoe diva! That's my girl!!!

The girls Halloween project
I found this idea from a friend on Facebook. I thought it was super cute so I tried it. I have an idea for Thanksgiving and Christmas as well. I am going to try some different ideas but for my first creative project we have done and we are proud of it. Happy Early Halloween!

Just Olivia!
I haven't posted much about our large fry lately and I feel bad! She has made such great improvement with her language and we are so proud of her! I have really been working with her since I have been home and she is doing such a great job. While we work out we sing different songs such as Old Mac Donald, ABC's, London Bridge, etc. We started singing the ABC's one day and Olivia started singing it with me. Now she sings it on her own and works out at the same time. We LOVE hearing her sing it!! We have also had a LOT of birthdays the past few months. Olivia started putting all of her animals at the dining room table and would sing what she called "happy cake". Then we got a Dora CD that has a birthday song on it and now she sings happy birthday all the time. I am so proud of her and all her hard work! We were worried about her since we waited so long to get tubes and by 2 she was not putting 2 words together. She has come SO FAR from there and we are so excited! She is growing so fast and I can't believe she will be 3 in four months! My baby is getting so big!!!

Peas Please
Kylee started cereal a little over a week ago and Sunday she started peas. I decided since I am staying home that I am going to make Kylee's baby food instead of doing the jar food. It has been fun so far. I have made peas and carrots and next will be green beans and I think sweet potatoes(I am going by the list the pediatrician gave me). Kylee loves the peas and is likea little bird. She keeps her mouth open for more and gets mad when she is done. Olivia of course pretends that she is feeding her baby too and it is very cute! This is a picture that I took with my phone so it isn't that great. I will have to keep our real camera around for moments like these!

Stroller Fun!
I was washing dishes while Chris was playing with the girls. I turned around and saw Olivia pushing Kylee in her baby stroller. She thought it was so fun and Kylee didn't mind it either!

Cereal Time!!!
Well it is official, Kylee is a big girl! She started cereal Saturday and LOVED it. She didn't make a "what are you giving me" face but a "give me some more" face. She was like a little bird sitting there with her mouth open waiting for more. She is too cute!
I took her to her 4 month check up Friday and she was such a trooper with her shots. She weighed 17 pounds 2.4 ounces and is 26 inches long. Kylee has grown 2 inches and gained 4 pounds in 2 months. She is wearing clothes that Olivia wore when she was crawling (which was about 6 months old). Kylee is always smiling and loves her big sister. We call her smiley Kylee. When she does fuss Olivia walks up to her and says, " It's ok Kylee...shh shh." I am one lucky mommy!!!

4 months already????
I can't believe Kylee is already 4 months old! Time is going by way too fast! She can roll over from her back to tummy and today she rolled from her tummy to back. Kylee has started to giggle and it is super cute! She loves watching Olivia and of course Olivia loves showing off. We go to her 4 month check up next Friday. Our peditrician has been out on some kind of leave for a while now so we have to make appointments with the other doctors there. They are all very nice but Dr. Taylor is our favorite! We are praying for her family and hoping that things are fine with her family. Kylee is now wearing some 9 month clothes (depending on the brand) most of which were Olivia's. I was looking at pictures the other day and some of the outfits Kylee was wearing Olivia wore when she was 6-7 months old. I am now very interested to see how big she is compared to Olivia at 4 months.
The girls and I are enjoying are time together and love working out and hanging out with the moms and their kids after class. We meet each month for a playdate and then the moms have a night out each month as well. Olivia is almost done with The Little Gym and we will be done with them! The class is nice but Olivia gets bored quickly now. She is just too busy now for that class.
We enjoy spending our weekends with Chris and going to the Splash pad in Rock Creek. I think we use the pad more than the people that live there.

Lots of updates!!!
So I have been a very bad blogger lately! Things have been busy around here and we are enjoying our time. The girls and I work out Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday's. Thursday we take Olivia to the Little gym and that is "her" day. Kylee turned 3 months on the 4th and is doing great. She is growing way too fast as is Olivia. Hard to believe she is already 2 1/2! Her verbal skills are getting so much better. Her longest sentence was "Oh no, Daddy shoot the deer." Chris had bought a feeder and it had a deer on it. Lately she has been obsessed with deer. It won't be long before she asks to go with Chris to the lease. I keep telling Kylee she has to be my girly girl!!
We took the girls to the Blue Bell factory Monday and Olivia had a great time as did Chris and I. I have never been so it was very interesting to hear about how they make the ice cream. Both girls did great on the trip which made us more confident about our trip to San Antonio in late September early October to visit Sea World. We are going with my parents, sister and maybe TNT (Tommy & Taryn). Chris and I are excited to take the girls, especially Olivia to have breakfast with the Sesame Street characters and their water park.
Here are a few pictures I took from the 4th of July, Kylee's 3 month. I didn't get a great picture of the two of them together because Olivia was not in the mood for posing. She had a great time hanging out with our neighbors having a ice cream party and then playing in the sprinklers.

This is what happens when Kylee doesn't take a bottle! Best Daddy Ever!!
So my good friend Jennie turned 30 and her husband planned a wine trip weekend n Austin. I knew about this trip before Kylee was born but decided just to go for the day since Kylee would only be 2 months old. I have been trying to give Kylee a bottle since she was about 3 or 4 weeks and she just wanted nothing to do with it. I had Chris, my mom and my neighbor try and no luck. I was going to cancel the trip when Chris said he woud figure out a way to feed her that day. This is how he fed her from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. He is AMAZING!! How many dads would feed their children from a medicine dropper??? They spent most of the day at my parents so they could help out with Olivia. They all had a great time and I was very thankful to spend a day with my good friends! It was a nice get away but I was glad to get home to see my baby girls and of course Chris.
For Father's day I made the girls matching shirts that said "Daddy's Girl" which we surprised him with as well as a round of golf with my dad and brother. I also thought I was being creative and bought him a nice bottle of wine from the Becker winery and Chris informed me he has had it before from HEB. But, he did make me feel better by saying it was better than what he had from HEB! We went to Double Dave's pizza for lunch and of course Olivia LOVED it! I think she was more excited than Chris. It was a great family day!!!
We love you!

Summer Fun!
Our Family June 6, 2011
Olivia and Kylee playing babies together!
We have been staying busy so far this summer. I started a work out group called Baby Boot camp where I take the girls and get a good work out and spend time with my two babies. Both girls do pretty good in the stroller but we have our times where we need a break. The other moms have kids around the same ages as Olivia and Kylee so it is nice to get to visit with the moms and Olivia get to play. We go to story time on Wednesdays and tomorrow Olivia starts the Little Gym. So until August we will be pretty busy over the summer.
Now that Kylee is getting older I am going to start potty training Olivia. I am going to wait until Chris takes his week of vacation to start so I have some help. It was very easy taking away the pacifier and putting her in a big girl bed but, I am thinking that potty training is going to be a little more difficult. Since I have been home, Olivia has really stated talking a lot more. We are so proud of her and it is making her seem so much more grown up. It is hard to believe that Olivia is already 2 1/2! She is so much fun and full of personality.
Our favorite line from Olivia, "Daddy fish pole." It is so cute to hear her say that. To bad that when Chris wants to take her fishing it better be some where the fish bite right away!!! She is not one to sit for very long!
Kylee is 2 months
I can't believe that it has been 2 months already! Kylee is growing so fast and already has so much personality. She is 13 pounds 11ounces and 24 inches long. She is smiling and cooing all the time and is such a great night time sleeper. As for a day time napper I can't comment since she doesn't really nap as much as little rests. Her head is very strong and she loves sitting up. She is not a big fan of tummy time but we work on it a little bit each day. It is weird looking at pictures of Olivia at this age. She was already balding! Kylee is not showing any signs of losing her hair but, it looks like it might come back lighter. We are working on Kylee taking a bottle but like her sister it is not going well. It is so odd how Olivia was a soothie(pacifier) freak! She LOVED them!! Kylee wants nothing to do ANY type of pacifier. Kylee is very laid back and just kind of hangs out. The only time she cries is when she is tired, hungry or when mommy is not holding her. But, we are working on that. Chris and I are so very blessed and thankful for our girls! They are so amazing!

I am a lucky Momma!!!
Had to share these pictures because they are too cute! Kylee is wearing the tutu my mom made as well as the light box in the back.
The second is a picture of our big girl Olivia. Sadly, she just had a bath and we went outside to play for about 10 minutes and I turn around and see her face. I couldn't help but laugh! She is the son Chris never had but a very cute and sweet one!!! Needless to say she needed another bath that night!
I am a very lucky momma and so thankful for my two beautiful girls!!
